Lip augmentation is one of the most popular non-surgical treatments Dr. Jugenburg performs. Lip enhancement using hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, or Teosyal adds volume, shapes lips, and give you that fuller, sexier look.

Lip augmentation takes approximately 20 minutes. On arrival Dr. Jugenburg will give you a small icepack that you apply to your lips to cool them down. This acts to numb the nerves so that the treatment is as comfortable as possible. The cold also causes blood vessels to constrict, thus significantly decreasing swelling and bruising after the lip injections. In some cases Dr. Jugenburg can apply a numbing cream or even put some freezing in to make your experience completely pain free.

After the treatment you will be asked to stay in the clinic and apply an ice pack for about 10 minutes, once again this is to help keep the swelling to a minimum. However, you should expect to have some swelling after the treatment. This usually goes away after about 48hrs.
