Botulinum Injection is a treatment the prevents fine facial muscles from contracting, thus preventing wrinkles. In addition to preventing wrinkles, it erases the angry/tired frown, sculpts eyebrows and jaws. It is the 10 best minutes you can spend to rejuvenate your face. Botulinum injection is most appropriate for active lines or age associated wrinkles that are just starting to appear, as it temporarily weakens or paralyzes the muscle that is causing the wrinkle. Botulinum works directly where it is placed, and thus can be artistically used to alter facial expressions. Our rates are $10/unit for basic areas. If a more complex injection is required the fee is $15/unit
Fillers are substances that add volume to the face and treat firmly established wrinkles or larger lines of facial aging (ex; smile lines). They can fill in wrinkles, or plump up cheeks and lips or sculpt your bony structure. Fillers are made of various substances, with Hyaluronic acid - based fillers being most popular. Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane, Perlane are among the most well known fillers. Filler prices are $350 per 1/2 cc and $600 per 1 cc. for the first 4 cc, subsequent syringes are $500

What causes facial wrinkes?
Exessive sun exposure can cause skin to age prematurely. Smoking causes a reduction in the production of new collagen which results in the development of wrinkles. Lack of hydration with skin care creams and skin care regimes causes the skin to become dehydrated accentuating fine lines and wrinkles.
Frown lines and crows feet develop as a result of the continuous contraction of small muscles located in the lines directly between the eyebrows and the lines situated at the outer corner of the eye area. Our daily facial expressions such as smiling, laughing squinting and frowning all play a part in making wrinkles appear more prominent.
What are the signs of facial aging?
As we begin to age we cannot defy the forces of gravity. The skin begins to sag and loose its overall elasticity. This in turn causes the formation of jowls and dropping eyelids.
As we age, your faces deflate (loose volume/fat), descend (existing fatty pockets that give the face its fullness move downward) and wrinkle. Thus to reverse signs of aging, these three signs need to be corrected. Deflation or loss of volume is corrected by adding filler to plump up facial features. Descending fat can be corrected surgically be repositioning it, or non-surgically by adding fillers to create the impression of a lift. And wrinkles are treated by filling them in with fillers, and preventing new ones from forming by Botox.
